It looks like the week's identity-crisis has been resolved -- everyone's back to normal and everything. Which is a relief in many, many ways.

Could somebody help me figure out what got done to my computer so I can get the right default icon back?

I can probably get in remotely and reset your defaults, but I find that people generally like to give their permission before I go mucking with their computers.
