Well, there's a budget for replacing stuff in the grounds budget because I mean, there's usually a couple fire related accidents every month (god I need like someone to spreadsheet or something for me because I am so freaking bad at this it took me a day to figure that out) but you can get me a burger?
Yeah, I'll pull the burned ones out in the morning. I was gonna today and just... yeah, first day off school in a while I pretty much did nothing today.
I do try to be responsible with my telekinesis. I'm just not good at it.
Although I admit that there may have been times at Muir where I just put out the flames and turned the couch cushion over. But I was young and didn't live around as many telepaths.
We could do some target practice? I could show you a picture of a target and then a tree and you could aim for the target? I'd be inside, where it's safe, though.
"Miss" is probably the wrong word. "Overdid it" is more accurate. I can only start fires, not control them, so most of the time I only ignite oxygen, because it burns quickly and doesn't cause property damage. It just turned out that the bushes were a little drier than I was expecting.
Yeah, but can't you use your powers to create a vacuum around the fire, keep it contained? Or control it that way? We did it in science last year, with the flame and the bell jar.
I did something like that with Mr. Dayspring once. It works, but I can't start a fire and simultaneously make a TK bubble. Also, the backlash is pretty vicious.
So if you made the fire and then got Jean or Crystal to control it? Or you could just burn the mansion down around us one night if you did a big enough one because you can't turn it off.
Considering accidental fires are one of the reasons I spent a few years at Muir to begin with and I'm not fireproof, yes. But that was a long time ago.
